Overview:
Care Assistant Living is a family-owned assisted living business that has served its community for over 20 years. The business was in need of a visual identity update to modernize its presence while maintaining the compassion and trust that have defined its legacy.
Design Goals:
• Develop a warm, welcoming, and professional logo ​
that communicates care, support, and reliability.
• Integrate visual elements that reflect human
connection and nurturing care.
• Update the color palette to evoke a sense of calm,
trust, and vitality.
Design Process:
The rebranding process began with research into the healthcare and senior care industries, identifying key symbols and themes that resonate with audiences, such as hands, hearts, and calming blues.
I sketched several logo concepts focusing on symbolism and simplicity. After feedback and refinement, the final design featured a stylized heart held gently by two supportive hands, capturing both emotional warmth and professional care. The circular form brings unity, while the gold accent ring suggests dignity and value.

Final Outcome:
The new logo helped Care Assistant Living update its brand identity for print, digital, and signage use. It reinforces the business’s long-standing values and has been well received by clients and staff alike.
